3) Hosting
Hosting is the provision of web space as well as the hosting of websites. Instead of operating this website on our own server, we can also have it operated on the server of an external service provider (hosting company). This involves the transfer and storage of personal data on the host's servers. In particular, the IP addresses, meta and communication data of the users as well as data on website accesses are processed. When a website visitor accesses the page, a connection is established to the servers of the web host. This results in the processing of personal data of the website visitor.
In the event that we have commissioned a hosting company, there is an order processing contract with this service provider.
We base this processing on a legitimate interest (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR). Our legitimate interest is to be able to present our website and make it available on the internet.

4) Contact forms and e-mail contact
If you have questions of any kind, we offer you the possibility to contact us via forms provided on the website. To do this, you must provide a valid email address and your name so that we know who the enquiry is from and so that we can answer it. Further information can be provided voluntarily.
Data processing for the purpose of contacting us is based on Art. 6 para. 1 s. 1 lit. a) GDPR and your voluntarily given consent.
5) Registration for further information
If you have expressly consented, we will use your email address in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 s. 1 lit. a) GDPR to send you our newsletter on a regular basis. The provision of an email address is sufficient to receive news from The Landbanking Group.
The provision of further data is voluntary and is used so that we can address you personally. We use the so-called double opt-in procedure. This means that we will only send you e-mails if you have expressly confirmed that you agree to receive information. We will then send you an e-mail with a corresponding confirmation link.
By activating the confirmation link, you give us your consent to the use of your personal data in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 s. 1 lit. a) GDPR.
If you revoke your consent by sending us an e-mail, your e-mail address will be deleted from our mailing list immediately, unless you have expressly consented to a different use of your data or we have reserved the right to use your data in another legally permissible way, of which we have informed you in this statement.
6) Disclosure of data
Your personal data will not be passed on to third parties for purposes other than those mentioned below.
We will only share your personal data with third parties if:
- you have expressly consented in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 s. 1 lit. a) GDPR,
- the disclosure is necessary in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 s. 1 lit. f) GDPR for the assertion, exercise or defence of legal claims and there is no reason to assume that you have an overriding interest worthy of protection in not disclosing your data,
- a legal obligation to disclose pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 s. 1 lit. c) GDPR and

7) Legal basis for the processing of personal data
In accordance with Art. 13 GDPR, we inform you of the legal basis for our data processing. If the legal basis is not precisely stated in the data protection notice, the following applies:
- The legal basis for obtaining consent is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a) in conjunction with Art. 7 GDPR.
- The legal basis for processing for the fulfilment of our services and implementation of contractual measures as well as for responding to enquiries is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b) GDPR.

If the processing of your data is necessary to protect a legitimate interest of our company or a third party and if the interests, fundamental rights and freedoms of the data subject do not outweigh the first-mentioned interest, Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f) GDPR serves as the legal basis for the processing. In the event that vital interests of the data subject or another natural person make processing of personal data necessary, Art. 6 (1) (d) GDPR serves as the legal basis.
Data deletion and storage period
We adhere to the principles of data minimisation in accordance with Art. 5 Para. 1 lit. c) GDPR and storage limitation in accordance with Art. 5 Para. 1 lit. e) GDPR. We only store your personal data for as long as is necessary to achieve the purposes stated here or as stipulated by the retention periods provided for by law. After the respective purpose no longer applies or after the expiry of these retention periods, the corresponding data will be deleted as quickly as possible.
Note on data transfer to third countries
Tools from companies based in third countries (including the USA) are also integrated on our websites. If these tools are active, your personal data may be transmitted to the servers of the respective companies. As a rule, the level of data protection in third countries does not correspond to EU data protection law. This means that there is a risk that your data will be passed on to authorities in these countries. We have no influence on these processing activities.
External links
Our websites may contain links to third party websites or to other websites under our responsibility. If you follow a link to a website outside our responsibility, please note that these websites have their own data protection information. We do not accept any responsibility or liability for these external websites and their data protection information. Therefore, before using these websites, please check whether you agree with their data protection statements.
You can recognise external links either by the fact that they are displayed in a different colour from the rest of the text or underlined. The cursor shows you external links when you move it over such a link. Only when you click on an external link will your personal data be transferred to the target of the link. In particular, the operator of the other website receives your IP address, the time at which you clicked on the link, the page on which you clicked on the link, as well as further information that you can find in the data protection information of the respective provider.
Please also note that individual links may lead to data transfer outside the European Economic Area. This could give foreign authorities access to your data. You may not have any legal remedies against these data accesses. If you do not want your personal data to be transferred to the link destination or to be exposed to unwanted access by foreign authorities, do not click on any links.
8) Rights of the data subjects
You have the right:
- to receive information about your personal data that is processed by us in accordance with Art. 15 GDPR. In particular, you can request information about
- the purposes of processing, the category of personal data, the categories of recipients to whom your data have been or will be disclosed, the intended storage period, the existence of a right to rectification, erasure, restriction of processing or objection, the existence of a right of complaint, the source of the data in the case of data not collected by us, and the existence of automated decision-making, including profiling, as well as meaningful information about its details, if applicable;
- to request without undue delay the rectification of inaccurate personal data stored by us or the completion of incomplete personal data in accordance with Art. 16 GDPR;
- to request the erasure of your personal data stored by us if the processing is no longer necessary in accordance with Art. 17 GDPR for the exercise of the right to freedom of expression and information, for compliance with a legal obligation, for reasons of public interest or for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims;
- to obtain the restriction of the processing of your personal data in accordance with Art. 18 GDPR if
- the accuracy of the data is disputed by you, the processing is unlawful, but you object to its erasure and we no longer need the data, but it is required by you for the assertion, exercise or defence of legal claims or you have objected to the processing in accordance with Art. 21 of the GDPR;
- to receive your personal data that you have provided to us in a structured, common and machine-readable format or to obtain the transfer to another controller in accordance with Art. 20 GDPR;
- to revoke your consent given to us at any time in accordance with Art. 7 (3) GDPR. This means that from that point on we may no longer continue processing data on the basis of this consent, and
- to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority in accordance with Art. 77 of the GDPR. As a rule, this can be done at the supervisory authority of your usual place of residence or workplace or the registered office of our company.
9) Right of objection
If your personal data is processed on the basis of legitimate interests pursuant to Art. 6 (1) s. 1 lit. f) GDPR, you have the right to object to the processing of your personal data pursuant to Art. 21 GDPR if there are grounds for doing so that arise from your particular situation or if the objection relates to direct advertising. In the latter case, you have a general right of objection, which we implement without specifying a particular situation.
You can exercise your right to withdraw or object by sending an email to info@thelandbankinggroup.com.
10) Data security
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data against accidental or intentional manipulation, partial or complete loss, destruction or unauthorised access by third parties. Our security measures are continuously improved in line with technological developments.
11) Use of local storage items, session storage items, cookies and external services
Our websites use local storage items, session storage items, cookies and/or external services.
Local storage is a mechanism that allows data to be stored within the browser on your terminal device. This data usually includes user preferences, such as the "day" or "night" mode of a website, and remains until you manually delete the data.
Session storage is very similar to local storage, however the storage period only lasts during the current session, i.e. until the current tab is closed. After that, the session storage items are deleted from your end device.
Cookies are pieces of information that a web server (server that provides web content) stores on your end device in order to be able to identify this end device. They are either created temporarily for the duration of a session (session cookies) and deleted at the end of your visit to a website or stored permanently (permanent cookies) on your end device until you delete them yourself or until they are automatically deleted by your web browser.
These objects may also be stored by third party companies on your terminal device when you call up our pages (third party requests). This enables us as the operator and you as the visitor of these websites to use certain services of third parties that are installed on this website. Examples of this are the processing of payment services or the display of videos.
These mechanisms have a variety of uses. They can improve the functionality of a website, control shopping cart functions, increase the security and comfort of website use and carry out analyses of visitor flows and behaviour. Depending on the individual functions, they must be classified in terms of data protection law. If they are necessary for the operation of the website and are intended to provide certain functions (shopping cart function) or serve to optimise the website (e.g. cookies to measure visitor behaviour), then their use is based on Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f) GDPR. As a website operator, we have a legitimate interest in storing local storage items, session storage items and cookies for the technically error-free and optimised provision of our services. In all other cases, local storage items, session storage items and cookies are only stored with your express consent (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a) GDPR).
If local storage items, session storage or cookies are used by third-party companies or for analysis purposes, we will inform you about this separately within the scope of this data protection notice. Your required consent will be requested and can be revoked at any time.
External services are also used on our website. External services are third-party services that are used on our website. This can be done for various reasons, for example, for embedding videos or for the security of the website. When using these services, personal data will also be shared with the respective providers of these external services. If we do not have a legitimate interest in using these services, we will obtain your consent as a visitor to our website, which can be revoked at any time, before using them (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a) GDPR).
The following cookies and external services are used on our websites:

In order to better manage our customer relationships, we use a customer relationship management system. This makes it possible to present customer relationship processes clearly and to maintain them in an organised manner. This includes existing and potential customers. Processing only occurs if you expressly consent to this data processing (via our consent banner on the websites). The legal basis for this consent is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a) GDPR. Without your consent, data will not be processed in the manner described above. If you revoke your consent (e.g. via the consent banner or other options provided on our websites), we will end this data processing. The lawfulness of the processing carried out until the revocation remains unaffected.

Processing only occurs if you expressly consent to this data processing (via our consent banner on the website). The legal basis for this consent is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR. If you revoke your consent (e.g. via the consent banner or other options provided on our websites), we will stop this data processing. The lawfulness of the processing carried out until the revocation remains unaffected.
Web fonts
This site uses so-called web fonts for the uniform display of fonts, which are provided by an external provider and loaded by the browser when the website is called up. In doing so, the provider of the web font becomes aware that our web pages have been accessed from your IP address, as your browser establishes a direct connection to the provider of the web font.
Processing only occurs if you expressly consent to this data processing (via our consent banner on the website). The legal basis for this consent is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a) GDPR. Without your consent, data will not be processed in the manner described above.
